Mortgage Checklist

To help prepare you for the mortgage process, here are some items you may need to provide:

  • Valid photo identification

  • Two months of recent bank statements with all pages

  • Investment account statements for most recent two months with all pages (if being used for downpayment or closing costs)

  • Retirement account statements for most recent two months with all pages (if being used for downpayment or closing costs)

  • Most recent pay stubs covering a 30-day period

  • Most recent W-2(s) for wage earners

  • Two years of complete tax returns for Self-Employment or Rental Income (if applicable)

  • Award letters for Social Security or Disability (if applicable)

  • Copy of Pension/Retirement 1099R form and evidence of receipt for 2 months of income (if applicable)

  • Supporting legal documents if you wish to include child support or alimony as income

  • Homeowner insurance declaration page

  • Flood insurance declaration page (if applicable)

 

If you're purchasing a new home, please also provide the following:

  • A copy of an earnest money deposit check

  • A copy of your Purchase and Sales Agreement signed and executed by all parties

 

If you're refinancing an existing mortgage, please also provide the following:

  • A copy of your most recent mortgage statement

  • A copy of your most recent tax bill and homeowners insurance

  • A copy of all notes for loans & statements for account being paid off

  • Condo Association Dues (if applicable)

 

Note: Additional documentation may be requested during the underwriting process.
